Soooo I came & got a bavarian king cake & it might just be the best king cake I have ever had!!! The bread part tasted incredible; the filling was thick and abundant!!! It was so heavenly 🤤 I bought it this morning — it’s gone now. I’m going tomorrow for another one, maybe a different flavor (there’s SO MANY) 🤗
Best King Cakes in town! Trust me when I say that I have tried several and there is really no comparison. Sometimes it can get a little busy but the wait is well worth it!
Lilah's is the best place in the Shreveport / Bossier area to get king cakes! They have a great selection of filled king cakes including cookie butter, Bavarian cream, raspberry and cream, etc. During the Mardi gras season they have weekly flavors that are worth checking out.
Yesterday I morning bought a strawberry cream cheese and i have been looking forward to eating it ALL DAY. finally sat down to eat it, and let me just say that it’s the most incredible thing I have ever eaten in my life. & I have had king cakes from every king cake place in the Shreveport area and this has beat all of them by far.
The absolute BEST king cake I’ve ever had!! So fresh, not dry at all, the BEST flavor!! We got the Cinnamon and Cream Cheese and will be back soon for more flavors! Definitely worth the 3 hour drive for us. 100000/10 recommend!
Not gonna lie, I'm a transplanted yankee. Been here for 20 years now. Honestly, over the years of trying this brand or this person's king cake, I just kind of figured that it was supposed to be dry. Not knocking it, just being honest. My husband loves king cake and a friend of mine kept talking about Lilah's. I was in the area, so I decided to stop. First off, she has the cutest little shop up front. I thought it was pretty cool that you could see the workers through a window setup inside the shop. Decided a cinnamon sugar king cake sounded safe. O.M.G!! It was so good! It really surprised me to some people say that they found it dry. It was the complete opposite. Within a week I was back for a strawberries and cream cheese. It was just as delicious!
Hands down, my favorite king cake in the Shreveport-Bossier area. I have tried all of the ones across town and some from other places and none compare to Lilah's. We leave the knife in the box and it's usually gone in 2 days! I have been a faithful customer for years! I love the new look of the inside of the store too! Keep on keeping on! We had such a fantastic experience at Lilah’s! We drive all the way from North Texas just to come here. Pictured (from January 2024) is our strawberry & Bavarian king cake—it was absolutely divine. Not only is this the best and freshest king cake we’ve ever had, but I’d say it’s one of the best desserts in general! The staff was so warm and welcoming to my family and me. The selection of flavors on the shelves was incredible! The three of us couldn’t wait—we indulged right there in the parking lot, just digging right in. We also brought a cake back for my husband’s coworkers, and they were all pleasantly surprised by how amazing it was. I wish I had taken a picture of the inside of the cake—it was super fresh and generously filled! I know there are a lot of options out there for king cakes, but Lilah’s truly does an outstanding job. I highly recommend them! Not sure why there are any sour reviews—sometimes, it’s best to experience something for yourself if you feel drawn to it. We’re excited to pick up another king cake tomorrow!
These cakes are no joke! Moist and absolutely delicious. The cookie butter king cake was phenomenal. We will be purchasing more!
